National Association of Teachers of Dancing Midland Area Competition

A great day was had with all pupils qualifying for Medallist of the Year grand finals in Blackpool, July 2025. Some great results with Seb, Amber & Millie winning their solo categories with a great standard of dancing all round! Lucie and Lacey came second in their events with Olivia coming into 3rd place and Lilya and Annie making their finals as well!

In the couples events Seb & Lucie put on a real show winning the 8-11yrs Samba and the much sought after Jean Johnson Juvenile Mayfair Quickstep Trophy pictured below.

Amber & Martha and Olivia & Lacey made it to the semi-final of the Junior Mayfair Quickstep last 8, and narrowly missed out on the final which was very close and taken to only 5 couples.

However the biggest win of the day was the Dynamic Dancing Duo Seb and his dad Dan competing in the Rose Bowl Cha Cha Cha. 66 couples entered including Lucie and her mom Patty(Patty wants a better partner next time…) and Lilya and her mom Becca. A great show with heaps of personality was displayed by everyone taking part in this event, amazing fun and for Dan & Seb to finish 4th overall was a fantastic result. Dan is now putting up his own shelf for his trophies, after his first one he’s got the bug!
